London Transport through the decades is celebrated with this 5-piece 1:148 scale set which captures the evolving LT network as well as some of the iconic vehicles seen on our capital's streets over many years. The set comprises
NNR002 New London Routemaster Bus - Go Ahead - London Central which is busy on Route 12 to Oxford Circus, registered LTZ 14460. Only the second release on the new 1:148 scale tooling, our ultra modern double decker which in real life was designed by Wrightbus specifically for use on the London streets using the latest green technology, comes decorated in red with a white roof and grey interior. A detail on the roof sees it printed GAG LT446 for identification from the air.
NQ1001 Q1 Trolleybus - London Transport. You've seen this popular three-axle trolleybus singly a while ago but its detail is outstanding with red and cream body and contrasting two tone brown roof. The advertising panels promote Ogden's Cobnut tobacco on one side and an invitation to buy Premium Bonds on the other. Registered HYM 808, the double decker is travelling on route 667 to Hampton Court.
NRM007 London Routemaster - London Transport. What set would be complete without the original London RM and here it is on Route 609 to Barnet registered WLT 585. Adverts abound on this bus with Crown Wallpapers and a British Railways ad on the sides, White Horse Whisky on the 'eyebrows' on the front, an advert for Outspan Oranges on each side of the rear destination blind and 99 Tea beneath the rear window. You could miss the bus reading all that lot!
NRT006 AEC RT - London Transport. Heading for Chessington Zoo as the No 65, our red RT registered KYY 672 comes with maroon interior and a high level of chrome masking. Additional detail includes a separately coloured platform floor and white rear handrails.
NUT002 Guy Arab Utility - London Transport. This double decker is decorated in the traditional bright red LT body and features white masking to the upper and lower windows and masked brown roof. The London Transport lettering is printed in gold on the bus sides and the interior seating is also moulded in brown. The front destination board indicates the No 175 is heading for Collier Row. Advertising panels are printed everywhere on this bus, which is registered GUF 71.
